Apollo Patch
Apollo space program patch

Earthrise Moon
Earthrise over the lunar surface as seen by the crew of Apollo 8 in December of 1968.

The Apollo missions were the next natural step of the U.S. manned space program. After the tasks
of Gemini were completed, NASA moved to putting three men in the capsule. The Apollo program lasted
from 1967 to 1972. Within these five years, NASA dealt with the most serious tragedy and successful triumph
manned spaceflight had seen to that date. The following are patches and crews for all the manned Apollo missions.
The position each crew member filled is also listed. CDR-Commander,  CMP-Command Module Pilot,  LMP-Lunar Module Pilot
